Gas conveyors use pressure air as the conveying medium to transport coal that has been crushed to a certain particle size along pipelines. They are suitable for large-scale grain depots for replenishment, unloading, flipping, stacking, as well as mechanized operations such as bulk and loose transportation in the production processes of grain processing, beer, brewing, and other industries. Gas conveyors can be used for horizontal, inclined, and vertical conveying, and can also form spatial conveying lines, which are generally fixed. The conveyor has a large conveying capacity, long transportation distance, and can also complete several process operations simultaneously during the conveying process, so it is widely used. It can be conveyed by a single machine, or by multiple machines or combined with other conveying equipment to form a horizontal or inclined conveying system, to meet the needs of different layout forms of work lines.

Precautions during the use of gas conveyors
1. The air pressure listed on the ventilation fan performance table is the full air pressure.
2. The air pressure listed on the ventilation fan performance table is determined based on engineering standard conditions.
3. If the density of the transported gas differs significantly from the standard state, the actual wind pressure should be corrected to the standard condition wind pressure.
Working principle
Working principle of gas conveyor
When the gas conveyor is working, the Roots vacuum pump is generally used as the power source for suction gas conveyor. The pipeline and tank warehouse are evacuated to a certain vacuum state, which promotes the formation of two-phase flow of material powder and gas at the inlet under atmospheric pressure. The material is then input into the cyclone separator through the conveying pipeline. The two-phase flow in the cyclone separator separates most of the material from the gas due to centrifugal force and gravity. A small amount of material is separated from gas. A small amount of material and gas enter the dust collector, and the powder and gas are separated by the action of the filter bag, while the gas is discharged into the atmosphere.
